Terry Hall Of The Specials Died Recently Aged 63

Hello lovelies I was saddened and surprised to hear this news of Terry’s passing@@ on the radio at 3 am yesterday 3morning rubbing cannabis oil on my legs, trying to stretch them out and warm them up. I’ve been having problems with my circulation lately and at night especially.

Anyhoo The Specials and this song was the first song I heard and liked. From my childlike perspective it was the first group that had both black and white people playing music, friends together. I connected to the songs and their commoradary its hard to choose a favourite. They had songs such as Message To You Rudy, Monkey Man, Do Nothing, Rat Race, Enjoy Yourself, Your Wondering Now, and Too Much Too Young. I even wore some black and white when the ska two tone style of clothing was out.. I was only a kid and still liked their music when Terry with two of his band mates from The Specials formed the group Fun Boy Three with songs such as Ghost Town, The Lunatics Are Taking Over The Asylum, Our Lips Are Sealed, It Ain’t What You Do, aswell as Really Saying Something with Bananarama a popular UK girl band in the 1980s..

Lastly he also had a song Thinking Of You under the name of Colourfield. He wrote songs aswell as covering other songs previously played by other artists.. ❀️

Watch “Dance Routine “Do You Love Me ” – The Contours ” On YouTube

Hello my darlings music has always had a profound affect on me. Music is the backdrop and soundtrack of my life and is another positive mood booster for me.

Music and dancing has always been an outlet for stress. Before I became ill music and exercise was my only go to for destressing relaxing and the opportunity to think clearly. My main form of exercise I used at that time was running with my earphones in..

But as I am unable to Enjoy this short video I know I certainly did ❀️

Happy Birthday Alice! Watch “Alice Cooper – Poison” on YouTube

Happy 74th Birthday to Alice Cooper otherwise known as Vincent Damon Furnier. Born as Vincent (his uncles namesake) on February 4th 1948. Known for songs such as Welcome To My Nightmare (I’m) Eighteen Elected and Poison released July 17th 1989 when I was heavily pregnant with my first child.. πŸ₯°

Again I was quite young when his band was founded but I remember the song Schools Out. I also remember vaguely his theatre make up with his black eyes. I also had a certain poster of Alice on the wall.

I can’t remember what he was wearing or the colours. I remember I used to kiss all the posters goodnight.. As you can imagine as I was that young the centre of the poster where his face should’ve been was torn and soggy! But in the summer of 1972 when Schools Out was released in the UK I was only three! ❀️

Watch “Sweet – Blockbuster – Top Of The Pops 25.01.1973 (OFFICIAL)” on YouTube

Hi there lovelies I don’t have a television set up to watch terrestrial or Freeview HD TV. Anything I want to view my go-to place is always YouTube. I remember this song it was one of my earliest introduction to Rock and Glam Rock music.

Sweet was one of my favourite bands but when I heard that siren with the guitar and drums at the age of 4 I loved the sounds, it grabbed my attention. Other music I liked was Queen with bohemian rhapsody and David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust..β™₯️

I have an eclectic taste in music and I live and breathe music for as far back as I can remember. I usually have a radio on as I’m a prolific reader. But I like a music video or watching comediennes and comedians.. andΒ  comedy sketches..

Yokki and the Parno Gry

I thought Id share a audio version of the book we’d bought for our grandson’s.

Its such a beautiful book told in the AngloRomani chib. (English Romani) The books are well worth buying. Storytelling is in the Romani (Gypsy) blood.

I found Richard O’Neills book on Amazon and bought this one and another called Ossiri’s and The Balamengro. There are audio versions of a few of his books as he decided to share them on his Youtube channel.

So on this note enjoy πŸ™πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸŒ±
